Zion Church and Youth Mission Trip to Elizabethtown

July 24th-27th

 Elizabethtown is one of many towns in eastern North Carolina affected by Hurricane Florence.  At one point, Elizabethtown had received the most rain of any area, over 35 inches.  Recently reported there was approximately $24 billion in damages due to this hurricane with numerous lives lost.  Many needs still exist and it will take years for these areas to recover.

What is the Purpose of the trip?          To help as many individuals, families, and churches as possible recover from the hurricane damage through our rebuilding efforts.  To show the love of God through our service to the community. 

When?          July 24th-27th.  We leave early Wednesday morning and return Saturday afternoon.  This will give us 3 full days of work. 

Where will be stay?          A local church in Elizabethtown or a local Christian Camp.

What is the Cost?              The only cost will be monies for travel meals on Wednesday and Saturday.  $15

What will we be doing?   Various construction projects such as roofing, drywall, tearouts, painting, etc..

One evening we will visit White lake for a cookout and time of swimming.
